Standard “P”– Press Ring Style: This adapter, like the “A”, must be screwed into the syringe. This MUST be used when the syringe has been previously converted to Sani-Tip or Pro-Tip, since the original Press Ring mechanism is usually gone from the office. The key to recognizing if the syringe is a Press Ring Style, is after the fitting is removed, the size of the hole in the face of the syringe is the diameter of a dime or approximately 11/16 of an inch in diameter.
