Alginor-Ortho is an orthodontic-specific alginate with a chromatic phase indicator. It boasts 168 hours of dimensional stability, so there’s no need to pour immediately. Its high elasticity and resistance to tears helps maintain accuracy for impressions with heavy undercuts and brackets. The chromatic phase indicator helps with the preparation of impressions without having to worry about temperature changes or specific water hardness. If temperature changes do modify the working and setting time, the color indicator will change accordingly.
