Therm-A-Form Ultra Wire is a copper-free, heat-activated nickel titanium wire with lower ligating forces than most copper alloy wires. Provides gentle and consistent tooth-moving force, which is ideal for leveling and aligning. These wires are softer at room temperature, making it noticeably easier and faster to ligate in significantly crowded dentition. Heat activation transforms the wire to a super-elastic state at 90°F (32°C) inside the mouth. A cool drink can temporarily ease the force, which makes sensitive patients happy. Superior cyclic bend performance resists permanent bends.
