Castroviejo needle holders have a flat handle with a textured non slip grip. The Micro tips are great for suturing fine surgical sites. A needle larger then a C-3 shouldn't be used for the standard castroviejo needle holder, or it could cause damage to the beaks. Additionally, the beaks have carbide tips to eliminate the rotation of the needle while suturing.
