• The Mint-A-Kleen Assistant® is a high-speed suction funnel that collects dental unit waterline waste that is expelled during Mint-A-Kleen’s dental unit waterline cleaning treatment. • When cleaning dental unit waterlines, the water in the handpiece hoses and three-way syringes must be expelled. The top of The Mint-A-Kleen Assistant is designed to hold four dental unit waterlines simultaneously during the purging and flushing of waterlines. The base of The Mint-A-Kleen Assistant is inserted into the high-speed suction. Waste and aerosols are expelled into The Mint-A-Kleen Assistant and removed by the high-speed suction. • The Mint-A-Kleen Assistant protects dental staff from aerosol contamination and splatter and also serves as a visual reminder to the dental staff that Mint-A-Kleen is still inside the dental unit. • The Mint-A-Kleen Assistant should remain connected during the entire Mint-A-Kleen waterline treatment.
