ACTIVA™ BioACTIVE-Cement™ is a bio-responsive ionic resin cement indicated for indirect applications. Contains a bioactive resin matrix, shock-absorbing resin component, and reactive ionomer glass fillers that mimic the physical and chemical properties of natural teeth. ACTIVA releases calcium, phosphate, and fluoride which stimulate apatite formation at the material tooth interface and promote a gap-free marginal seal. ACTIVA™ contains no Bisphenol A, No Bis-GMA, and No BPA derivatives. ACTIVA™ Cement is a moisture tolerant, two-paste material in an automix syringe system. The material is triple-cure; it cures by light and has two self-cure setting reactions.
