The Boge 513 has an elongated shank and slightly tipped cutting edge easily able to remove tartar in areas with fixed orthodontic wires and/or marginal recession with exposed root surfaces. The other end is a Nebraska 128 which is a sickle scaler that easily reaches into tight interproximal contact areas, especially for patients that have crowding and recession.
