Mouth-Mate Oval has a few use cases and is used both chairside and at then at home to continue care. First, Mouth-Mate Oval is a post-surgical disposable oral care product that a patient uses to protect surgical areas and is ideal for soft tissue grafting, laser procedures and any mouth sore or lesion including Lichen Planus. Mouth-Mate Oval is also a retraction tool to be used at home to retract hard to reach areas in the mouth after full arch implants, grafting, orthodontics and any dental procedure including regular cleanings. Additionally, both orthodontists and pediatric dentists are displacing Mouth-Mate Oval to their patients to improve hygiene long term. We are seeing orthodontic patients retract their mouth with Mouth-Mate Oval, which improves access, visibility and focus, reducing cavities and white spots. Pediatric dentists are displacing Mouth-Mate Oval to their patients under 6 years old whose parents are still brushing their teeth for them. It is the perfect parental tool to help them brush their child's teeth. We are finding this Mouth-Mate Oval to be popular for general dentists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons and peridontists. Lastly, The OVAL is also used in the chair as a retraction tool by the assistant or hygienist for regular cleanings, sand blasting, deep perio cleanings, high pressure suctioning AND intraoral scanning. We are getting great feedback from offices as the Oval is very beneficial for intraoral scanning because a mirror is uncomfortable and the reflection is a problem so Mouth-Mate Oval works quite nicecly. After using Mouth-Mate in the chair, the hygieniest can then give the patient the product to take home. Win win! We are positiong the Oval as the first product to be used in the chair to improve retraction for cleanings, scanning, etc. and then giving it to patient to use at home to retract and improve hygiene. The rest of the SKUs — the Large and Small UShape and Circle are disposable take home but a hygienist or assistant wouldn’t most likely use these SKUs in the chair but they would use Mouth-Mate Oval.
