In the past, practitioners have had to choose between printing models either quickly or accurately. VOCO’s new V-Print Model 2.0 allows for both in just one material. Printing at a high layer thickness of 100 μm doubles the print speed while accuracy remains comparable to models printed at a lower layer thicknesses. V-Print 2.0 is scratch-resistant and dimensionally stable, which allows reliable fitting of the restoration on the printed model, even on the edges. Printing high-precision crown models and fast ortho materials with one material saves time and optimizes the workflow as changing materials in the 3D printer is not required. The material’s beige color allows for a strong contrast that enables the best possible optical control of the restorations on cores. As with all V-Print resins, V-Print Model 2.0 is sedimentation-free and therefore does not need to be shaken before use. No nitrogen is required for post-exposure, which not only supports occupational safety but also contributes to further process optimization. The model material is validated for 3D printers from Asiga, Dental Wings, RapidShape, Microlay, MiiCraft, Ackuretta, Shera and Straumann.
