According to CDC infection control guidelines, sterilization packaging must have, at a minimum, “the date …and device used, on the outside of the packaging material.” This stamp is designed to fulfill these requirements by combining it with non toxic ink pads that will withstand the heat, pressure and moisture levels of an autoclave or dry heat sterilizer. Assigning only one color per autoclave allows for easy recall of instrument packages in the event of a failed spore test. Five colors of ink are available. 2 stamps + 1 black ink pad + 1 red ink pad
