Special screw for rapid palatal expansion. The anatomically bent retention arms are soldered or welded onto molar bands. The specifically designed housing profile fits perfectly the palatal vault. The integrated polyamide bush prevents accidental resetting of the screw. Laser-welded indication for rotation and expansion on the housing. Comes with security expansion key. Not suitable for surgically assisted rapid palatal expansion. Protect screw body from excessive heat to avoid damaging the integrated polyamide bushing and jamming of the screw.
