The CORBIN™Adapter is a simple, low-cost device that allows you to use a low volume saliva ejector tip with high volume evacuation (HVE). • The higher rate of fluid removal using HVE is great for removing potentially contaminated aerosols from the patient’s mouth, to reduce the risk of contamination. • Faster evacuation is also useful when a patient has difficulty swallowing. • However, HVE tips are generally awkward to maneuver, and do not bend. • The new CORBIN™Adapter allows you to use a more manageable low volume tip, and attach it with ease to HVE. • Low-cost and with no need for additional equipment, the CORBIN™ Adapters can be autoclaved up to 10 times. • Replace after that, or when they look worn. • The package includes 4 adapters each. • Always follow OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control procedures.
