Orthopli Corporation has incorporated an interlock at the base of the handle. This single spring interlock Mathieu will eliminate the locking portion from getting caught up on gloves during operation. Both interlocking mathieus are constructed of all stainless steel with cross serrated beaks. The difference of the two is the 012-ILPU has a machined open slot at the rear of the beak and only touches at the tip.
