The 390 microsurgical blade is sharpened on one side and is 0.38 mm in thickness. It offers a tapered shape and a blade width of 1.3 mm at the tip and 2.0 mm at the root. This blade may be used in root coverage surgery for making a flap on the recipient site. It is also suitable for making a sulcus incision on thin gingiva, such as the gingiva of anterior teeth on the lower jaw. It is especially efficient in periodontal plastic surgery and periodontal regenerative surgery.
