The Cavitron® scaler is offered as a factory installed option for Evogue delivery systems. Scalers are essential tools used for preventative treatment and the improvement of oral health. Cavitron® is a magnetostrictive-type scaler which generates tip motion in an elliptical pattern for effective calculus and biofilm removal. All four sides of the tip are active. This scaler option includes a detachable 30K tip insert and the Steri-mate 360 rotating handpiece attachment that helps to reduce stress to the operator’s wrist during scaling procedures.
