SH-Series Handpieces with Guards • SH-Series Straight handpieces have been designed for surgical applications. The handpiece should not be operated without a nose guard when a straight bur is used. • Uses standard ø2.35 mm burs and drills. • Twist-Ring and Lever Chucking models. • Steam autoclavable (135 degrees C). • Nose Guards prevent debris, blood, or irrigant from entering the handpiece. • User-replaceable autoclavable Silicone Discs are used in conjunction with Short Nose Guards. Long Nose Guards have embedded bearings to assure concentricity of long-shanked burs.
