STERLING® Orthodontic Clear Aligner Instruments are designed for creating access for bonded buttons and patient ease of use of elastics. Pliers for punching a drop-shaped notch at the gingival edge of the correction aligner, for hooking in elastic bands. Pliers with a teardrop-shaped tip make an indentation in the aligner, to hold an elastic band in place. Elastic bands can encourage the movement of specific teeth as they can cause extra tension and force between two teeth and create movement into straighter position.
