Carmel Bites Wafers are U-shaped, making it ideal for accurate bite registration. TWO TYPES - The Bite Wafer wax comes in single (non-laminated) and double layered (laminated). The single bite wafer is designed to register patient bites and are used to check occlusal relationships, providing quick and precise bite checks and adapts to the dental arch. *There is no aluminum foil between singal layers. The double-layered laminated wafers come with aluminum foil between the two layers of wax. The foil stabilizes the wafer to lessen distortion and prevent bite-through.
